2012 Southern Region Meeting

April 24 - 25, 2012

The 2012 AOSCA Southern Region Meeting will be held at Hilton Garden Inn, Cartersville, GA on April 24-25, 2012.  Terry Hollifield, Executive Director, and the staff of the George Crop Improvement Association are your hosts.

The Hilton Garden Inn Cartersville hotel is located in the premier shopping, dining, business, and entertainment district of Cartersville, GA.  The hotel is just one mile from historic downtown Cartersville and just minutes from the Booth Western Art Museum, Tellus Science Museum, Allatoona Lake, and Red Top Mountain State Park.

Fly into the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). It's about a 45 mile drive to the hotel.  Transportation options are Super Shuttle, rental car, or taxi.

Meeting Registration~

The meeting agenda is currently being drafted.   Please submit agenda items to Terry Hollifield, of the Georgia Crop Improvement Association; (706/542-2351).

Plan to travel on Monday, April 23rd.  The meeting begins Tuesday, the 24th, and is scheduled to run 8:00am to 5:00pm.  Wednesday morning, the 25th will be available to finish any carryover business from Tuesday.  On Wednesday afternoon, a turf farm will be visited and turfgrass inspection training conducted.
